What we take on
Tiling fails at the substrate far more often than at the tile, so most of this list is about what happens underneath.
Bathrooms and wet rooms
Level-access showers, formed falls and tanking, tested before a single tile goes down.
Large-format porcelain
Panels laid flat and level, with the room set out on paper first so the cuts land where they should.
Natural stone
Marble, limestone and slate, sealed to the material rather than to one house method.
Kitchen walls and splashbacks
Full-height splashbacks and feature walls, cut around sockets and switches so the joints still read straight.
Floors and underfloor heating
Heating laid, screeded and commissioned through a full heating and cooling cycle before tiling begins.
Substrate preparation
Levelling, priming, decoupling and boarding out, photographed and reported to you before it is covered up.
Setting out
Where the cuts land is the whole job.
You will never notice a wall that was set out properly. You will always notice one that was not — a sliver of tile in the corner, a cut running straight through the middle of a shower niche, or joints that miss each other by half a tile where two walls meet.
So we draw the room before we cut anything, and decide up front where the full tiles go and where the losses get taken. It costs an afternoon, and it is the whole difference between a bathroom that looks fitted and one that just looks tiled.

Level, moisture and movement measured and recorded before we specify anything.

Prepare and prove it
Levelling, decoupling and tanking, photographed and reported before it is covered.

Set the room out
Drawn tile by tile, so the cuts land at the edges you would have chosen yourself.

Lay, grout, seal
Laid to the drawing, grouted to the specified joint, and sealed to suit the material.
