A newly installed consumer unit with neatly dressed cabling, being tested

Home · Electrical

Certified, tested and documented.

Domestic and commercial electrical work. Certified testing is carried out on every project we deliver, and the paperwork comes to you with the keys.

Services

What we take on

Carried out by our own electricians, whether it sits inside a full renovation or stands on its own.

First and second fix

Installation behind new stud and finished plaster, set out against the joinery and tiling drawings before anything is chased.

Rewires

Full and partial rewires, planned in stages so a household can stay in the property where that is practical.

Consumer units

Replacement and upgrade, with the existing installation inspected and reported on before the change is priced.

Lighting design

Circuits, layers and switching planned room by room, so the lighting matches how the room is actually used.

EV charge points

Domestic and commercial charge point installation, including the supply capacity check.

Inspection and testing

Periodic inspection and condition reporting, with the findings written in plain language rather than codes alone.

Lighting

Lighting designed for the room, not the ceiling.

A grid of downlights set out to the ceiling is the quickest way to make a good room look ordinary. We plan lighting against how each room is actually used — where you read, where you cook, what you want to see and what you would rather not.

That usually means layers: something ambient, something to work by, and something quiet for the evening, each on its own switch.

Commercial

We work for businesses too.

Offices, shops, bars and restaurants. The work is the same standard as a private house, scheduled around your trading hours wherever the job allows it, and handed over with the same certification and the same written sign-off.

You get one price from a survey and one person managing it, which is usually the part that matters when you are trying to stay open.
